We invite you to worship with us and participate fully in the life of the church. We host informal gatherings for those who wish to learn more about us. Discussions at the scheduled gatherings include:
“Who Are We?”
As the title suggests, this gathering is for those who simply want to learn more about our church. We will be discussing our Congregational and United Church of Christ traditions, how those traditions are distinctive, and how they are reflected in our congregation’s life. This session will be particularly helpful to those who come from other traditions, but will also be of interest to those who have been a part of a United Church of Christ congregation. It will also help orient you to the life of our own congregation.
“Shall We Grow in Faith Together?”
Those who are interested in joining our church are invited to particiapte in a second gathering. During this time together we will provide information about the specific ministries and programs of the church, as well as information about the membership process. Those who gather also will begin the process of considering how they might grow in faith through the ministries and programs of the church. We often say that faith is a journey; this time together aims to provide participants with the beginnings of a roadmap for that journey.
Our Inquirer's Gatherings will be held on October 4, November 1, January 24, February 28, March 21, April 11 and May 2. We will be receiving new members during 10 am worship at our first joining on October 25, 2009.
